1.Cisco Lab Setup
In order to set up cisco labs we need to
1.1.Create Default Directory/Folders.
1.2.Place IOS
1.3.Setup Gns3

1.1.Create Default Directory/Folders
1.1.a. Create The following path, c:\vuse\images in order to
maintain IOS images or at times some other relevant data.
1.1.b.Create the following path, c:\vuse\vlab home for lab
projects.
1.1.c. Create the following path, c:\vuse\vtools home for generic
network tools.


1.2.Place IOS
Kindly put the IOS images in c:\vuse\images folder

1.3.Setup Gns3
1.3.a. Instructions:
Download Gns3 from the following site :http://www.gns3.
net/ to c:\vtools
ATTN: download all in one package for windows, unless
you are using any other OS.
Download the file containing idlepc value from " http://www.
box.net/shared/3qy1x68guq" and place it in the c:
\vuse\images folder.
Run Gns3 installer and install all the packages.
Now we need to update Gns3 regarding location of IOS
images,
fill in the idlepc value and check the access method exe
file.
